BT250 and PPC 6600

Has anyone tried this combo? I know that people had problems with this BT headset on the 6601, but I decided to try it anyway. Unfortunately, I get the nast static too.

I am having a hard time sorting through any new posts from the stickied BT Patch thread. I have a couple of questions that I need answered:

1) has anyone used the BT250 and the PPC6600
2) What version works - seems that it comes pre-installed with a 3500 version.

Thanks!

On a semi-related topic, once I get my XV6600 I was planning on getting the BT250v (with vibrate)...has anyone had any experiences (good or bad) with this one? I would assume that it's the same basic headset as the BT250, but I can't tell for sure.

I have the BT250 and used with my 6601 and now I just got the 6600 on Friday and it paired up the first time and works great. The 6600 has the 3500 BT Build that came installed already with it and also left the BT250 in the car and went shopping and also left the Bluetooth on and came back to the car and they paired up with out no problem when I got a call.

I have both the bt 200 and the bt 250... The bt200 works better but it has shorter battery life...I believe the bt250 got a little better with the software upgrade from audiovox

My BT250 with the PPC6600 pairs up extremely quickly....that is not my problem. My problem is the unacceptable amount of static that I seem to be getting when I use the phone.

Specifically its static that happens not on my side, but on the other end of the phone. No one seems to be able to hear me very clearly.....

Has anyone tried the BT250 with the latest bluetooth patch (3900B I think from Ehud's site)?

Just a follow up on the HBH-300. It works incredibly well, from a long range with no static. I am using the out of the box bluetooth on the PPC6600.

Crotius,

Your finding is exactly what the Head Set Poll shows.

BT250 with the SX66 sucked, but now with my PPC6600 almost flawless. I wonder why some can and some can not?

Jabra BT250v & PPC-6601

Hey All,
I just recently purchased the Jabra BT250v and in all I really seem to like it. However, I am getting complaints about the static and the volume being low. When I got these complaints I had the head set and phone no more then three feet from eachother. I was walking on a side walk but had great reception. Do you guys have any ideas of what I might have wrong in the settings or somthing of the sort? I was thinking that the phone has the Microphone AGC setting, should I have that set to somthing? Also, please let me know if any of you have this unit or have had it and what you think/thought of it.

Thanks!

Calling Out - Jabra BT 250v

Hey All,
I am testing out both the Jabra BT 250v and the Motorola 850. On the 850 I can push the main button and call out but on the Jabra I have yet to figure out how I call out via the head set. Also, are either of them compatible with voice command?

Let Me Know!

I just got the 250v today as a replacement for a stolen HBH-660. You must pair the 250v using the headset profile by holding down the phone button and the volume up button for about 8 seconds until the light turns solid blue. Proceed to pair as normal. To call the last number dialed, hold the phone button for a couple seconds until you hear two beeps then release. As for voice command...look here

Jabra BT250v

Original BT stack, have had the 250v for two weeks and NO problems, syncing, static, or earpiece volume, the only complaints I've been getting is the mic appears to be overly sensitive with the background noises around me.

The first time I got an incoming call I nearly crashed my car. It takes some getting used to. My daughter couldn't get used to it and turned the vibe setting off.

Which of the 6 "Original BT stack"s do you have?

There's the original PPC-6601 (3500), XV6600WOC(3500), PPC-6600 (3500+), XV6600(3500+), later (3500 + 3600 BTCeStack.dll).

to pair the 250, i have always held the phone button down (from the off position) until the light beeps 4 quick times and then continued to hold for a couple of seconds until the thing turns solid blue. i haven't ever had to push the volume up button as well.
