But is it worth the $$$?

I can't see why it would be....but thought I would ask!

I would not pay $270+ for any headset, although I am thrilled with my Bluespoon AX for $89 and wouldn't be without it. It works flawlessly and nobody knows I am on a headset. Callers all sound perfect to me so noise is not a problem that needs to be fixed. The only real benefit for all the extra cash might be enhanced security with the digital signal, but they don't mention how the signal is processed so not sure on this. Save your cash and buy the Bluespoon AX, or better yet, buy several!

Plantronics has a BT headset that you will be able to plug the base into your home or office line and use the headset for either home or cell phone. I think it was over $200 as well, that would probably be the only BT headset I pay over $100 or even $150 for...

I run my own business out of my home office, so that would be a nice bonus to have.

You could also use any standard telephone headset / speakerphone / recording control or similar device which connects to your home or office phones and provides a 1/8" or 3/32" jack for a standard headset. Then plug a Bluetooth dongle into the headset jack and presto - you can use any Bluetooth headset with your home or office phone (as well as any standard headset). I plan to do this for my Bluespoon AX soon - you can find many cheap devices to provide the headset connection. Radio Shack sells several devices that will work and I just saw a recording control on sale for only $9.

This thread is the original review of the Bluespoon Digital on howardforums. It is quite long and full of useful information.

It looks like an awesome headset. I may eventually get one to replace my HBH-300, I just havnt been able to convince myself to spend the money yet.

My Bluespoon AX can be paired.with up to 8 devices simultaneously. Most others are probably the same.

I would agree with you if you were right, but the Palm OS is crap.
