Activesync faster with USB or Bluetooth?

Just wondering if anyone has a preference or has noticed a difference in speed. Of course, (for me) bluetooth is favored because of the no cable issue.

Speaking of which, has anyone figured out how to make the PDA start an Activesync session without opening the bluetooth manager and manualy doing it? Can there be a shortcut to the profile?

I don't have the actual technical speeds in my head, but a USB connection is much faster than a Bluetooth connection.

    USB hands-down

I use bluetooth (Ambicom model BT2000C-USB with software version 1.3.2.7) when I travel and USB at home.

I've never timed it, but USB seems to be several times faster than bluetooth.

    Bluetooth is 700kbps.

    USB 1.1 is 12Mbps.

    USB.. by a long shot.
