    Not a happy camper....

12 Days after having my PPC-6600 my microphone died on me. First I made sure I didnt accidentally mute something...no luck.
Next I tried 3 soft-resets, no luck. Then I tried 3 hard-resets, still no luck. The microphone simply will not work at all.
The receiver wont work during a phone call, the recorder wont work, nothing.
So I go to my local Sprint store and they confirm the microphone is dead and ordered me a new one. Sadly, I have to wait until
Thursday before it will be in....(It better be a new unit and not a refurbished model!)

Did you get your original 6600 from telesales, or from the Sprint store?

It is kinda sad to pay this kind of money and have to put up with quality issues.

I ordered my unit through Business Telesales. The reason I'm ordering the replacement through the Sprint Store is because I wont have to mess with a charge/credit on my account since they can do the swap right there.

I thought about the Bluetooth headset idea, but these phones are too expensive to accept flaws such as a bad microphone.

Whats weird is my microphone stopped working right after I installed MS Voice Command and I.Navigation software....

It happens. Have you ever bought a car that never had a single problem, and how much do you pay for those?

If its only been 12 days, they have to give you a new one.

I would agree with you if you were right, but the Palm OS is crap.
