Your best option is probably Thunderhawk.

    (No, netfront isn't available).

Is there something different between the ppc6600-6601 and the XV6600?

I have been running the 2003 version on my XV6600.

It isn't the most stable program I have but it works much better than pocket IE. (It might be some other program I installed that is messing with Netfront cause it was working well when I didn't have much installed)

I'm using Netfront and TH, both work for me just fine.

I didn't have much luck with NetFront. I tried it on several PPC phones, and it was too slow to load up web pages for some reason. It just sits there and thinks before the web page begins to load. That behavior even existed on WiFi. So it was not the device GPRS or 1XRTT speed issue.

When Netfront or PIE get sluggish or hang, cleaning out cookies and reloading usually works for me.
I'm not a developer but suspect that the ad servers for some sites hang the browser until the cookies are deleted.
I try to be selective enough to avoid deleting forum password cookies.
