Talking Car Kit with THB Bury for treo converted to XV6600

I purchased the THB kit for the Treo and spent a ton of time installing it. Well, THB now makes a new cradle that you just swap out for the treo cradle. I didn't really buy the marketing when they said, "If you upgrade your phone, we'll have a cradle for you." Sure enough, they did, it took seconds to install and it works. There's a GPS interface on it for those interested - I'm using the GPS 10.

Look at the MDA III one.

Looks good. I am holding out for a good cradle that doesn't even require me to manually hook on the power cable (a mount much like the one on the USB cradle that comes with the unit).. have you seen such a beast? Arkon makes a nice GPS integrated mount (it has a GPS receiver built in and comes with PocketMap Navigator)... But, still needs the power cable attached.... Maybe I'm being too picky, but I'm just not a fan of how these look with the cable dangling...

I thought so too - however, the treo did not have a dangle and it always took two hands and a lot of effort to get it into the cradle. This actually works much better because you use one hand to gently push it into place that one hand to plug into the firm base. I think the dimensions and input location hinder the one piece design.

Acctually there is another good one that has several models for each phone. You have your choice from no cable to detachable cable to built in cable that all you do is slide in the phone like the factory charger.

on a side note: I wanted to post the direct link to the exact model but the link was way too long. How do I post a link that long and make it shorter?
