    RE-map PHONE button?

I just installed D9 and it's a really cool app. I got tired of the trying to two-hand find what contact to search for.

I thought of D9 because the speed dial option on the 6600 is pathetic. (I came from an i500 where I would dial 2 and press talk and the number would dial.

Is there a way to map the phone button so that it would start d9 instead of the standard phone dialer?

    Thanks for your help.

VC man, who uses speed dial these days. 1/2 a hand needed to operate.

There is a way to do it but not by the user(that I know of). I had potala telly installed and when it was running, if I hit the phone button potala telly came up, not the default dialer. So the programmer did something to make potala telly do it.

You really should at least do the demo of Microsoft Voice Command. Its a five day trial. Don't just blow it off, it really flipped my feeling about this phone. Before I was a huge treo fan because of one handed operation. VC has satisfied me with 1/2 handed operation. (also if you go to circuit city and buy VC its $30 instead of $40 at handago)

I've heard that VC breaks applications.. I'm currently using D9 and PhotoContacts.. Anyone heard of any problems with those?

I'm trying out Sprint Voice Command service. It works much better than MS VC 1.5 for me. It is the * + Talk that you used to use on your Samsung i500. I uploaded all my contacts on Sprint's server. I don't have to look up anyone now.

    Tony,

where is the link to Sprint's VC? Do you have to do anything to "learn" the contacts?
