    WModem on Apple?

I am leaning toward buying a PowerBook to replace my dying Wintel machine and am wondering if it is possible to use my PPC-6601 as a wireless modem. Will WModem do the trick or is there something else I'll need?

    Thanks!

No.. wmodem is a WIntel executable.

You can probably use BlueTooth networking to share your PowerBook's network with the [ppc|xv]660[0|1]. I say probably because a search shows that nobody's come on here and said "Yes I did it and it works" but it ought to work in theory.

When it does... would you please share your results with us?

p.s. I've tried to be as helpful as I can. If there's anything more I can do, other than coming to your house, installing the software, pairing up the network, and configuring it, please let me know

Thanks, Ehud. I search here and Google and haven't found a success story yet.

P.S. Sure you can help by buying the PowerBook for me.

Yeah I would do that, except my credit card says it's all maxed out. Don't know why. I just "reconfirmed" all my paypal and ebay information including passwords, PINs, SSNs, and eerything else the other day.

    Can't imagine what went wrong.
