    NooBie question

Just got the XV6600 with camera yesterday. Can I (if it can be done) select either WiFi or EVDO for online (data) connectivity? If so, How?
    Thanks

The XV6600 does not have wifi. Are you using a wifi SD card?

I haven't found anything that just toggles the connection. You could turn off the wifi radio. Then your ppc should automatically try connecting with the verizon network.

Otherwise it just defaults to the wifi as far as I can tell.

No problem. The connection setup in PocketPC, is one of Microsoft's worst design's ever as far as their UI's go.

What possesed them to think this setup was acceptable I'll never know.

If you click on the signal strength you should see what the device is using as a connection.

I believe if you insert the wifi card you will have to soft reset to get the ppc to see it.
I Have To Soft Reset Each Time Use The Sandisk Wifi Sd Card????

What type of wifi card do you have? If it s the sandisk use the socket drivers. If its the socket wifi use the socket drivers.(See a pattern?) If its the sandisk wifi with 256MB of RAM, good luck.
I DID IT!!!!! I Got the Scandisk 256mb Wifi Card to Work!!!!!! At Least....
