Unhappy Calendar adds an hour to appointments

When syncing Outlook calendar, appointments go in an hour later. I've been following a thread posted under the samsung SPH-i600 forum where someone has had the same problem.

I followed the time zone checks that were recommended and worked for him, but they don't work for me here.

    Any further suggestions?

Gotta be time zone / daylight savings or clock settings.

Yeah thanks, that was the first thing I checked.

Everything (that I can see) is set as it should be - both PDA & PC. I even turned off & on Outlooks daylight savings to see if it was actually recognizing things during the sync - it was.

I'm sure the problem is within Outlook/PC somewhere but can't think what else to check??

Time, Time zone, Regional Settings are all set to what they should be here.

What happens if you change the time of the appointment on the PPC? Does it change on Outlook or does everything sync?

Are you syncing through activesync or buisness connect/wireless sync? I can't speak to buisness connect but there is a time zone setting in wireless sync.

    Exclamation

If I change the appt on the PPC back to the correct time e.g. 9am it will change it in Outlook to 8am.

We're using ActiveSync here 3.7 (No problems until today!!)

Just for completeness here is the sph i600 thread.

Calendar adds an hour to appointments

Do you have synchronize mobile device clock on connecting checked in activesync?

Do you have automatically synchronize with a time server checked on your PC?

Try 3.8 and see if that helps.

Try a last resort hard reset and see if it syncs correctly then.

Maybe its this (Don't get your hopes up its just a joke.)

As you can tell I am out of ideas.
