Bypass all others and checkout Mars Weather Panel. The best of the bunch. It's truly amazing, you get radars, sun up and down, alerts, etc. etc.

    @ pheonix
I think you'll find what you want by doing this:

    1. go to freeware.com,
    2. go to advanced search
    3. search on free programs for the pocket pc and the term "weather"

    Bonne Chance!

All the Weather Applications refer to Marsware Weather Panel as "Our Daddy".

Nope because thats a item you pick not type out. I just mistyped it on the reply.

If you google Mars weather panel you get nothing. If you google Pocket PC Weather you don't see it also.

I think I see the problem. Select "Pocket PC under "Category" not "Operating Systems". You should get one program.

I know -- doesn't make sense. Sometimes you have to search in different ways to find what you want.

Try here. This is the maresware website. It has lots of info on WeatherPanel and several links to download from several sites as well as a cab instal.

I use SPB Pocket Plus, and use the today plug in. With that, I use SPB Weather, and I really like it. Updates when I want it to, and does it quickly. I don't need radar or full page things--I just want to know what the weather will be like today, tomorrow, and later this week. This program does it flawlessly, and doesn't use more today screen space.

    Google SPB Weather.

Exactly! It all depends on what you want. (I did try and really liked the Mars product--it locked up my i700 initially, but it was a previous version. I just want the today screen space, and don't need all the extra goodies.)

That was just a little pun on your fisher of men description.

The good thing about WeatherPanel is that you can have it big or medium or mini on the Today screen. So you can take up space or not.
