BT that works with xv6600 and and non-BT deskphone?

I tried searching this, but it's a tough search. I also realize that it is a bit brazen of me to ask this question, given that it seems that we can't even get a BT headset to function properly with JUST the xv6600.....but I'll ask anyway.

While I like the idea of a BT headset to use with my xv6600, I am not enough of a cell phone user to consider it a necessity. However, if I could have a BT headset that i could use with both my 6600 and my desk phone (which is non BT), I would definitley be interested. Does anyone know of such a device that works? The only one I am aware of is mady by Jabra -- it includes an adapter/charger that connects to the desk phone to enable it for BT. It seems like the Jabra's are only working so-so with the xv6600, so I am trying to identify others to try....

    Thanks.

Your worries may be over if you have the $$$. Uniden is releasing a BT Deskphone very soon.

I think it is going to retail for around $329.00. Bit pricey but you know they will sell out everywhere.

    Other options

Plantronics, GN, and I think one or 2 other manufacturers make units that convert your landline into a BT line...

    GN 6110

    GN 6210

Now only if these had caller ID as well...

Thanks everyone -- exactly the info I was looking for. If anyone has experience with these, particularly the GN models, i'd love to know how they worked out.

Jabra makes a transmitter/receiver device that plugs into any 2.5mm jack and makes it work with bluetooth. I have one and use it in MANY cordless phones with 2 different bluetooth headsets!

Forget the model number of above device. It's out in my car.
    Device costs $49.00!

Plantronics Voyager 510 works as a BT headset for cell phones and can also pair with a second device. There is an optional BT base that you can purchase that allows it to also work with a land line.
