So now my head phone volume is low - any idea why?

As of Wed. I've noticed that my head phone volume is really low. The speaker is loud, but when I use the stereo head phone included with the phone, I can barley hear. I've tried all the volume settings and still nothing. Could it be Phone Alarm?

I doubt the head phones are at fault, because they don't crack at all, they are just low. It seems like a volume thing.

There's a subtle, sliding volume control on a small switch in the headphone cord. It's easy to move accidentally.

Heh, naaa - no volume on my set. Just the one round button and it doesn't do much other than hang up the calls or answer.

On my headset (cord), the sliding volume control is about 18" from the round button, towards the plug.

Don't feel too bad. I did the same thing. I even went so far as to call verizon tech support and complained about it. They sent me to the local store to have them look at it and the store could not figure it out. They ordered me a new phone. I figured it out when I got the new phone and the new phone's headset was also low on both phones. I examined the new headset and found the little volume slider. on it. YUP that fixed it right away for both headsets. lol. So even verizon tech support did not know to tell me to look for the volume control on the headset.

You are definitely not alone I was on the plane pushing the earpiece deeper and deeper in my ear. Since I was catching a cold, I figured my ears were stopped up.

A week later I figured it out.
