make sure you have it checked in Activesync to sync up your calendar.

Using the Verizon Wireless network and IMAP is what I configured.

oh. have not used that yet. Probably is a setting somewhere, either on their website or on the device itself. Look at both and you should be able to find it.

IMAP doesn't sync calendars or contacts... it's for e-mail only.

If you have Exchange 2003 then your admin might be able to set up "Exchange Activesync" for you, which is much better than IMAP and can sync your calendar and contacts folders too.

It can also be done with Exchange 2000 with an add-on product called "Mobile Information Server".

There's lots of info out on the web about this.

We have exchange activesync but for the life of me, I don't know why the calander won't synch when all the folders do.... There doesn't seem to be a setting to say DON"T SYNCH CALANDER !!!

I set my XV6600 to IMAP - is that's what's wrong... What should that be ?

If you're using Exchange ActiveSync, remove the Sync Client from the device. That's the VZW sync tool and you don't need it for Exchange ActiveSync.

If you're using exchange activesync, then that is completely set up within the activesync applet on the phone (Start->ActiveSync->Tools Menu->Options->Server tab). You shouldn't have anything set up in the Messaging app at all--once Server Activesync is set up properly it uses the "Outlook Mail" account automatically.
