    sending messages with one hand on PPC6600?

    yet another question! one handed operation!:
    when composing a message, is there any other way to send it out other than reaching over to the top left of the screen and tapping the send button? i know, i'm lazy. but is there a secret keystroke to send? i've tried every button on the 4-way nav button but to no avail...

    If you hit the function button on the keyboard (far bottom left) and then hit the "menu" button (far bottom right), the menu will pop up and you can navigate to send (which is by default enter). Once you get the motion down, you can send messages pretty fast.

    There is a workaround for one handed sending.

    Goto Start->Settings->Buttons and assign button 9 to "context menu." Button 9 is a sprint logo on the keyboard between tab and comma. I think it is blank on the other versions, either way, its pretty useless in the default setup.

    Setting it up as the context menu does interesting stuff, but it varies from app to app. When typing a text message pressing the context menu will bring a drop down menu, the first item, already highlighted is the "send" key.

    So type your message, hit the context menu, press center on the Dpad, and the message is sent, all one handed and much more ergonomic than hitting the touchscreen all the way up in the corner there.

    P.S. Nice photo! Where have you been all my life!?!?

    Function->Menu->S Send
    Function->Menu->R Reply
    Function->Menu->D Delete
    Function->Menu->N New

    there are a few others but I use these most of the time. Thank god for keystrokes.
