Backup battery dangerously low and screen freeze

On my third XV6600 in one month, first one hard reset 5 or 6 times a week, and every time battery was removed. Only software added Resco Explorer. Have only used OEM battery. Second XV6600 randomly displayed Backup battery dangerously low" recharge...etc. after pulling out of pocket. Most often within an hour or two of taking off charging cradle with full charge. Main battery never below 75%. Screen taps would not register, but buttons would. Bring up Start menu, Pie, contacts. etc. Soft reset would just end in same condition. Hard reset restores full functionality. Backup Battery then shows 50% or 75%. After a short time Backup Battery will recharge itself from the Main Battery, only to happen again within a day or less. NO extra software installed on second phone, I was waiting to see if I'd have problems with stock software. OEM Battery only. Third XV6600 second day is today. Same as second XV6600. No extra s/w, OEM battery.

I realize there are many threads addressing batteries, backup batterys, hard resets. etc, but I could not find one with the same symptoms of the screen tap freeze, etc. We definately have a problem Houston.

    Damn Ehud, you're up early.

    Yep, same charger.

Quick witted in the AM also.

    Thanks,

Verizon stock cradle only used for charging. I should have them swap that, eh...

Looking for how to edit/delete that extra duplicate post. Sorry

Interestingly my first post is now gone.

I suspect your charger is bad, and that's why you're experiencing this problem.

All the other problems are symptomatic of insufficent power.

Any chance you can get another cradle / USB cable and test it out?

Must have been a temporary problem. Both mine and yours are now dups... but before I couldn't see my first (and I gather you didn't see yours either).

    Weird.

So I asked twice, you answered twice

Yep, I'll try that this PM. I work the graveyard shift in a Data Center. Interestingly enough I' planning a move to Tucson within a year.

    Thanks again Ehud,

When you get set to move... get a hold of me. We have a data center, and it needs a graveyard shift. And if not us, well, it's a small town...

Sweet, the last piece of the puzzle. Now only time is in the way, and all time ever does is pass...

Not leaving the thread without results, just waiting for it to do it again so I can take it in to the store that way. Of course now that I want it to do it.....
