Question Listening to tunes with the screen off?

I was a Treo 600 user since about 3 days after it released until about a month ago.

I bought the 6600 with Sprint, and have loved it so far.

I have yet to figure out how to play mp3's with either WMP, or with Pocket Music, and have the screen off. Yesterday I was mowing the yard and had a pain because I would move and it would hit a button and skip songs or pause etc.

Is there a way to do this and I am just missing it?

Try Screen Lock, a little freeware program.

You can also try un-mapping all the buttons in WMP except "screen toggle" (WMP: tools --> settings --> buttons).
    Verizon XV6700 - Sony HBH660 - Globalsat BT338 GPS - AData 2GB miniSD - Parrot CK3100.

In addition to the screenlock program already mentioned, you can use the freeware mp3 player GSPlayer - it will automatically shut off the screen and buttons for you too.
