What is the difference? Just BT 1.2?
PPC-6700, Treo 700wx, Samsung IP-i830w, Motorola i580, LG Fusic. Mix well, add accessories, consume.

I have just bought this headset. Seems to work fine - no pairing difficulties, no apparent static. I must admit I have not played with it much over distances. If you have specific questions, please ask away.

Besides being the different color the HBH-662 supports the "name" for caller ID in more devices.

Do all the numbers display on the screen, or does it cut the numbers off like the 660 did?

It displays 7 numbers and then scrolls.

Wow, this makes it useless for me still. They really need to allow all 10 numbers on there at one time.

Sorry about the off-topic comment - (but I'm gonna anyway) - it's really fun to see all the i500 comments. I absolutely LOVED my i500. I'd still be using it - but my company cut my technology allowance and offered me the 6601 for free (they own the phone and the service plan). hard to resist. Anyway - cudo's to Samsung and the i500, great little phone!!!

So, would you prefer the Palm O/S or the PPC? I just crossed over from the Palm O/S after having used it for about 7 years.
My last phone was a Samsung i600 which used Smartphone. Now I have a XV6600 which is PPC.

    (Still off topic)

I do & I've been using for about 2 months now. It's pretty solid, battery life is good and the little 7 digit window is adequate. The number of digits isn't so much an issue as the size of the LCD...it's pretty damn tiny. Also, the black finish started flaking off around the high wear areas (ear loop) after about a week, the silver parts still look sharp though.

Well i got this headset, and i do like it a lot!
I find it very comfortable to wear, and useable even if my phone is in my pocket.
However i couldnt seem to get it to display the caller id name, i know i730 users love this headset b/c it displays the name...have any 6600 users figured out how to get this to work yet?

So.. I don't see a definative answer on this.. Does the 662 support the name in the caller ID window, or just the number like the 660?

    Ben
