Sure, keep the top down during rain.

I have a convertible and let me tell you, I have NOT found a suitable bluetooth headset, or any headset for that matter. I have tried half a dozen, including the sony hbh660, bluespoon AX, a couple of Jabras, etc. Most of them I could hear pretty decently, it is the microphone that is a problem, the wind blocks it out. And thats with the windows rolled up and a windscreen up behind me, so there was very little wind in my auto. 99% of the time I would cancel my headset and pick up my phone.

I think maybe something with noise cancellation, or with a boom mic may work decently. Also I know there is a wired headset that works on vibration from your jaw as you talk instead of a mic, I hear they are releasing a bluetooth version soon.

I tried a couple I have a jeep wrangler and it is terrible with wind noise and I tried a couple different headsets and then I just got the logitech mobile freedom and It is great people say they can hear me fine it has something called windstop technology and it works. I wish that the speaker was louder but it is pretty easy to hear in the jeep just not loud. And this is cheap online as well it is not real flashy but it seems to work realy well.

verizon's recommended choice for a headset is the jabra 250. i have tried everyone and this is the only one i like. you can't talk with any headset with all your windows open except with a moon roof. you can't talk in a convertible either. just like you can't smoke on a motorcyle. ever see those idiots?

I beg to differ you need to try the logitech mobile freedom because the wind noise on the 250 for me and my dads headsets was unbearable for people we talked to in windy environments but I ride around with the top off the jeep and everyone I have talked to said I sounded like I was really clear just a littled muffled but really clear it is the windstop gimmick they have but it seems that it works though. Can't never did anything.

Yeah try either of the Logitechs out. I find that the windstop works good for me but I don't have a convertible. My friend has the big logitech headset and he said it was the only one that he could use in his SL convertible. He just didn't like carrying around the huge headset.
