    A few newbie questions.

I've done a search and read the stickies but I'm still a bit confused on a few things. I have a PPC-6600. Is this device considered a smartphone? I assume yes. I'm asking because a software program I was looking at asked which version software I was using. It was phatnotes smartphone edition,

    I know I have Windows Mobile 2003 SE, ver 4.21.1088(build 14132).

I saw some something ask if I had Smartphone 2003 installed, is that the same thing?

I'm just confused with the different OS titles and refrence to smartphone titles, etc.. Windows Mobile 2003, then theres is mobile 5.0 (Which I think is the next version, I know this won't work on my phone due to some interesting threads from a guy named ehud).

If there is a faq or something that answers these questions and I missed it please link me.

    Thank you.

You have a Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC, Phone Edition. I have a XV6600 myself. I ALSO have a Samsung i600 Smartphone. It is like Pocket PC lite. They are NOT the same animal! Although a few programs will work on both, but usually, they have different downloads. Your phone is MUCH better than a Smartphone!
Ever had "one of those days"? I'm having "one of those LIVES!"
XV6800, XV6700 AND an XV6600, Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo BT Headset, Jabra JX-10 Release 2, Aliph Jawbone, Motorola H700, Motorola H850, Jabra BT800, Sony HBH-660, 2 GB SD

    Ahh thank you.

Would my OS also be considered Windows Mobile 4.0?
