    Text message grouping

The Treo 650 handles text messages brilliantly by grouping them into AIM like messages. I would love to find an application that will do that on the Pocket PC. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

So far that's the only replacement I've found for SMS. I use it all the time. Like I said the beta expired so I can't use it right now. There are a few qwirks when adding contacts, and when links are generate but overall its a great app and once the edges are smooth I'll be buying it.

Hey that's cool. I'll definitely check it out. May I ask you a few dumb newbie questions? Does this app "take over" the text messaging... meaning: Do text messages "go" somewhere else and are no longer accesible via the built in SMS program? I would like to try it out, but I keep several text messages in folders in the standard SMS program and would like to keep everything together still.

    Thanks!

The program allows for 3 options:

    SMSPro Only
Both the OEM app and SMSPro
    OEM app Only

(The latter did not didn't work for me.)

    Has anyone ever used this?!

If not... Anyone willing to give it a shot? I would try it, but I need to find a low SMS usage time to give a shot... That won't be any time soon.

    Thanks for any input!

I'm still trying to coerce Matt (RICoder) into finishing up SMSPro...either that or learn me some C# and finish it myself. From looking at the features for exsms, though, I can't help but be jealous of "when new message arrived, the vibration can doing". I mean, that's genius!

I am very frustrated that he let the app go as well........ I was on the private beta and really wish he would have stuck with it or someone else had picked up the app and gone on.......... I don't know how....... I just test........ but if I did I would have done it, there is a future for this app on the PPC for sure.
