    screen gasket

I noticed today there is some kind of gasket coming out from between the screen and the upper case. I did a backup and took my unit back to spring and for a replacement

Did on mine too. And some others I've heard. It was pissing me off because it applies pressure when it comes out and it was making it impossible to use my device. Parts of the gasket i pulled out, parts i shoved back in.

Verizon sent me a replacement in two days because of the gasket. It came out after I had it for a couple of months.

Mine as well. I never bothered to send it back, just poke it back in place with the edge of a business card.

I didn't want to risk getting a hosed replacement from VZW.

Where is this gasket coming from? I don't see where a gasket is on mine...

    (hopefully, I won't either)

Along the edge of the screen. Where the metal case ends and the screen real estate begins. If you do, just poke it back with the edge of a business card. No big deal aside from the fact that it shouldn't happen.
