Angry [newbie] - Invalid Message Recipient?

I bought my PPC-6600 not a week ago and I'm trying to setup e-mail so that I can send and receive e-mail from my personal pop account.

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right setup but I configured smtp to use smtp.sprintpcs.com but it gives me an error from System Administration that says "Invalid Message Recipient" - has anyone encountered this and do you know how to fix it?

    Thankies

As it is normally my luck I've found the problem. I fixed it by using smtp-auth for outgoing mail for my email provider so now its all gravy.

    What's smtp-auth?
How come nobody's mentioned it before?

This should be in the faqs!!!

smtp-auth means that you have to authenticate like you do POP (to receive e-mail) but to send (smtp). For some reason using smtp.sprintpcs.com never worked, I configured it to use my isp's mail server and to use outgoing authentication and voila!

    Cheers guys!
