    Best Weather Application?

I'm looking for a simple weather App.

I'd like it to be capable of a manual refresh rather than contantly polling.

Also I prefer not have anything run on the Today Screen, I find too many apps that plug-in to today screen degrade the stability of the whole phone.

So I don'tmind a couple clicks, wait and I get a weather up date. It's better than surfing the net for it.

If not, what is the closest most stable Weather app you know of.

    Thanks

Hey mswlogo, where ya been? A whole new pdaphone has been released. But I digress,

Try happyjackroad. I forget the name of the app but its 5 dollars and doesnt need the today screen. Good app for the price. Can grab maps also.

IF you happen to be in the Central Texas area... I built this website for our mobile users..

    mobile.kxan.com

I originally built it for myself, but figured others might find it useful.

Well after RacerX10's reply that he has tried them all, I gave www.marsware.net a go despite it was a today screen only app.

I must say the marsware weather app is very impressive.

Couple questions. I have it in "Expanded" Display mode.
There is a black circle on the right. Is this supposed to be the moon?

Yes that is the moon. It displays the moon in its current phase. Right now the moon is nearly "new" or dark. So you will see a black circle displayed. As the days pass and the moon slowly lights up your displayed moon will also slowly light up.

I'm using Stocks and Weather Today. It works quite well and I got hooked on the wallpaper that changes depending on the weather conditions. It provides a decent amount of info. I think Mars provides more, but this one is prettier.

Any Idea why it has stopped automatically updating. Manual works and it is still Demo.
