All depends how much mail you get. You get 10 people sending you 400k emails and you're done.

You can limit the amount of data downloaded to just headers or some x number of bytes. The default is headers and 2k of the message. So lets go with dmackdaddy's 10 people and you seem pretty popular so lets say you get 10 emails a day. Lets leave off the header bits and say its 2k/message. Thats 20kB/day. For thirty days that is 600kB. If you never surfed or downloaded more than the 2k then you are OK. Also don't forget that sending takes bits as well. And if you are talking about really syncing like calendar and tasks then its more than that as well.

Web surfing - something simple like google is 1.23kB. A pda trafic map from tann is like 2.4kB. BBC news pda site is 4k. So lets say you visit those three every day 7.6kB/day. Thats 228kB/month.

So 4MB sounds relatively safe no? Again its like dmackdaddy said, all it takes is one of your chums to send you that funny forward/mpg/soundclip/jpg in your email and you are done.
