    sms through pc?

I have been searching for an alternative of sygics .mobile on pc... The software is for GSM phones and im pretty new to this but im assuming the ppc isnt a GSM phone. At any rate I cant get the software to work.

Does anyone know of a program that I can use to send text messages through my phone. I want the features this program has...

I tried out sms cool, you can click here to try it, but it doesnt alert you when you get a text message. and the interface is pretty plain. any suggestions?

Correct. If you want GSM look to the SX66 from cingular.

Not that I've found. Second best thing is get remote software and control your ppc from your computer. I recommend mtux remote.

Is MTUX faster than the various VNC versions?

I have been very happy with the Remote Display Control power tool from Microsoft.

It is almost as good as having the phone in your hand and for some things like typing a long email its better.
PPC-6700, Treo 700wx, Samsung IP-i830w, Motorola i580, LG Fusic. Mix well, add accessories, consume.

Mea Culpa. I was thinking of the opposite direction: controlling the PC from the PPC.
