Question Possble new upgrade for XV6600WOC

I just checked Audiovox's website and there seems to be a new upgrade file. The previous upgrade was HA_VZW_13500_115_01140_WOC the new file name is HA_VZW_136_117_01151_SHIP. Can anybody confirm this?

    I just confirmed the file sizes are dramatically different (HA_VZW_13500 - 25.3MB vs. HA_VZW_136 - 35.4MB).

Audiovox posts update for XV6600 (FINALLY)

I've had my xv6600 for about a week. My biggest complaints are:

    Bluetooth too soft on HS850

Ringer too soft (I know this can be fixed with a louder ringer)

    Ear peice too soft

Whining screen and not from the backlight, the screen itself.

Let's see if this update that has been long awaited fixes some of these issues....

while waiting . Search is not working?

While I am waiting for ages with my lame internet connection here at work.
The search (Forum search that is) does not work for me - is it just me?
I do not see any notices on the home page of pdaphone about it - but I also could not get it to work yesterday either.

Nice, I get an F for not paying attention. I wonder if this is newer than the 2.0.4 I went through so much trouble installing the other night.

Well, we have a 10 meg internet pipe, and its slowly scooting along at 56 KB/s here. Not that I can install it till I get home anyhow, hopefully someone can post all the version numbers before I take the plunge.

I think it's going to be a race for all of us to get home and check this out. I just called my wife and told her to break every traffic law and hurry up and get here! I'm stoked!! Desperately hoping for some improvements to BlueTooth functionality relative to headsets. Don't have too many more complaints than that.

Of course, now the thing on my mine is...I just got done with this massive configuration and got everything stable. Is this going to knock me back out??? Time will tell...

    Ok,

    Windows Mobile v4.21.1088 (Build 14132)
Windows Media Player 9.0.1 (Build 14132)

    CE ROM 1.36.00 WWE
    ROM Date 1/13/05
    Radio Version HA01_151
    Protocol Version AA3.3.301
    PRL Version 50316
    ExtROM Version 1.36.116WWE

Definitely downgraded my ROM from 2.03 which I knew would happen based on the file name being 136 something something...

Will go check bluetooth volume and ringer/ear peice volumes and report back...

well make sure you have your cradle and your power cord. You'll need the cradle to be powered during the update
