    Brand New Owner

I just got the new PPC-6600 one day ago and have been busy exploring it as well as reading alot of posts here on the forum. Here is my situation:

Currently I use an Outlook 2003 for all email accounts -2 hotmail accounts(http) and pop3 account(really convenient to have these on one screen, calendar, appointments(personal and business) and tasks. No exchange server. My question is: what do I need to do in order to have the same info(in synch) at all times (or at least updated daily) between my handheld, home pc and office pc? Ask me if I need to give you guys more info.

    Peter

Ohh, that's asking a lot, my friend. Anytime "POP" is in the mix, its tough to sync 1 >1 PC's, not to mention 2-3 machines and different accounts. I juggle work and personal, but they are both hosted on exchange servers, which makes it easy. I'll be looking for a solution for you...

Well, one solution would be to Wireless Sync with office computer 24/7 and manually sync with cradle on home computer.

I don't know if any carrier other than Verizon offers wireless sync over broadband though. Works for me, but I'm with Verizon.

Do you have Sprint's Business Connection Personal Edition (http://www.sprintpcs.com/bizcon.html)? That would take care of everything but the Hotmail. Hotmail can be picked up with MSN Mobile though, and sets up in Messaging just like any other mail account. I use ActiveSync with two different computers (desktop and laptop) but don't sync my mail with the laptop. Hope this helps - sheureka

I know that I can check hotmail through MSN Mobile - that's going to hotmail.com. How do I set up email account for hotmail in pOutlook. When I do this in regular outlook, hotmail is classified as HTTP type not pop3 or anyother. pOutlook does not give me the same option. pOutlook is asking for server info and I have no idea what it is for Hotmail. Anyone has any info on this?

    Thank you!

You have to pay MS $19.95 to do that (seriously!) - http://mobile.msn.com/ac.aspx?cid=pmsn_market - that will set up a regular hotmail account in messaging. - sheureka
