Questions to owners of VX6600 or PPC600

I am currently with Verizon and I am considering trading in my
primative phone for a VX6600 or switching to sprint to get a PPC6600. I
have a few questions to people who own this phone

#1 Can you program a easily accessable button on the unit to initiate a
wireless bluetooth sync, making syncing much more convenient that
putting it back in the cradle.

#2 Does it fit well in your pocket? Will a screen protector keep it
from getting scratched up by keys and other pocket stuff?

#3 Can you recommend a leather case that allows you still slip it into
your pocket or a belt-clip type of case that allows you to sit down
without it getting in the way.
Most important, a case that doesnt get in the way when you use it a
    phone.

#4 Any recommended websites for find shareware, freeware and software
    for this phone?

#5 How does over the air sync work? Can I just leave my PC connected to
DSL and have my PC and VX6600/PPC6600 automatically keep in sync
    without having to do anything?

#6 ~$40 per month just for high-speed internet access seems steep. Did
any of you consider swithing to sprint, as they seem to offer their
internet access for only $15 a month?

#7 Can you set Activesync to automatically backup everything (files
etc.) when you put the unit in the cradle? I don't want to have to
manually execute an comprehensive backup sequence.

#8 For a phone at this price, it seems worth the $5 a month for
insurance through Verizon/Sprit. Has anyone ever had to get a
replacement covered by this insurance? How long does it take
Verizon/Sprint to send a new one? Was it a pain to get them to send
    them a replacement?

#9 Did you find the included memory to be sufficient, or did you need
to expand via the SDIO slot?

#10 Can you recommend a bluetooth headset that you have found to work
    well with this phone?

#11 Will the phone sync with all outlook 2003 contacts (I have many
contact folders). I once had a PPC (Dell Axim) where activesync would
only sync contacts in the default folder.

yup... you have just provoked the next major hurricane to hit land -- Hurricane Ehud. Might be time for you to evacuate fella. Right now you're a bigger target than Bush and the Mayor of N.O. put together.

It was too easy. Come on. That's like asking a sleeping tiger to wake up just to swat a gnat...

I don't think so, if it were a joke, the #1 question would have been "Can the Sprint model do EVDO, and if so, how do you do it?".

    Me, too!

I don't normally write a post just to echo, but this is priceless.

It not being the first day of April, eHud must have a new nemesis. . .I keep waiting to see the mushroom-shaped cloud arising.

My question would be. . .if I Bluetooth Sync, how would that really be simpler than just dropping it in the cradle? LOL!!

    No, wait.

My question is. . .after I spent $300 for the phone, $200 for accessories and case. . .$200 for GPS and mapping system. . .$400 for memory cards, Wi-Fi, headsets and $100 more for miscellaneous. . .does anyone know where I can get freeware software for my phone?

    Ouch, busted!

    Yeah, sorry.

I recently inherited my 5-year-old grandson, so I'm spending way too many days in front of the boob tube. And studying the intricacies of dust bunnies.

On the other hand, I figger if the newbies can't spell "search," they will never glom onto "nemesis!"
