    Help with Disconnect A/Sync

    Help!!!

I went to use my 6600 as a modem, havent done this in a long time with the Winmodem and the "disconnect A/s program that I found on this site.

All worked great, but now that Im done, I cant get my ppc to connect to AS.

When I put the phone in the cradle, I hear the ding, but AS does not connect, I tried the Get connected and it does not work. I tried restartying the laptop and a soft reset.

    Any ideas?

    Remove PPC from cradle

    On the laptop
start menu --> programs --> Microsoft Activesync

    Put PPC in cradle.

    E,

It doesnt seem to matter if I have AS open or not. I tried it your way toconfirm and its still a no go.

I confirmed that USb was enabled (it is). I dont know what else to do out here on the road

    ppc
    start menu
    programs
    activesync
    tools -> options
    click [options]
check "Enable PC Sync"... and select USB from the pulldown.

No, I'm definitely more than 10 calories each.

That box gets unchecked because wmodem takes over the USB connection and uses it for "real data" not activesync.
