How can we use google video to watch legal downloaded tv shows on 6600?

Google video now may be starting something that will be catching on soon, legal downloaded tv shows. Everybody hates Chris was the first show, to be used on Google video.

    http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/st...4131747&EDATE=

I tried to watch some of the videos on my 6600, but didn't have much luck. So although some people may not know about this, it may be something that may be big in the future. If it is big in the future, it would be nice to be able to watch them on the 6600. Anyone know how we can do that on Google's new site: http://video.google.com/

Google is using Flash v.8.0, so until we can get Flash to work on our phones right, then I don't see these video's working either. Looks like the last version they had was 6.0 and that is no longer available. Not that it worked, I have it and I never saw Flash working on my ppc:

Shoot, they just killed it off today!

Ok, took me a couple of tries to get it so the forum software wouldn't ruin it.

My experience with Flash for the PPC was that it won't play anything on a web page. It will only play local content which is useless. I want it to play web content!

Well it's all academic now. From MacroMedia's website:

"Macromedia Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC 2003

As of October 3, 2005 Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC download will no longer be available. "

You can buy it for $499

That price is ridiculous. I guess we have to wait a little longer for technology to catch up, for our pocket pc's to do everything that the PC's can do. I mean just a couple of years ago there were seperate pages for ppc's. Now they can go to the same pages.

    $500?!?!

That HAS to be a typo. I mean, this thing was FREE last week. And it doesn't work anyway. Who in their right mind would pay $500 for this flash software? Even if it worked, nobody would even consider paying $500 for it. That's more than a lot of people paid for their device, with all the software they currently have installed! And it doesn't even work!

Thanks for posting that link ehud, I guess I downloaded it just in time. It doesn't work, but at least I got it while it was free and saved $500, lol.

No, the link is fine. I just tried it, and the download is still there.

As of October 3, 2005 Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC download will no longer be available.

No mention of the price gouging.

I can't get the link to work; just leads to the page that says the app is no longer available. Can anyone who got it prior to discontinuation post the downloaded file somewhere?

    Not Found

The requested URL /pub/flash/pocket_pc/ppc_installers/install_fp6_ppcax_en.exe was not found on this server.

When I saved the link, I got the exe file, but it didn't work either.
