Can't lower Windows Media player volume enough.

I purchased a pair of Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 3 Studio Earphones and am using them with a XV6600. I cannot set the sound volume to a low enough level to be comfortable. I have the device volume set to the second to the lowest level (the lowest level is no sound) and set the slider on the Media player to the lowest setting and the sound is still too loud. These earphones are the "in the ear canal" type and really seal out surrounding sound.

Does anyone have the same problem or a solution to try?

    Thanks.

I use earphones that also have a volume control on them, so I have 3 volume controls total...
