Has anyone successfully changed the os on the ppc6601 from 2003 to mobile 5? If so what steps were taken.

    2003 to 2005

I think we can state that this upgrade is not going to happen...........if we think we need WM5, then buy a device that has it.

I'm not trying to be rude... but it really bugs a lot of people when a new thread is started on an old question when a current thread is only 6 spots underneath it (at the time of this posting) with the same conversation already going on.

    Please use search.

Please check out other threads currently going on.

Then last but not least ask your question....
iPhone 3G (sorry Sprint, I have been to the mountain top!) <-- Sprint Mogul PPC 6800 (not enough memory) <-- PPC 6700 (loaner from sprint) <-- PPC 6600 (no EVDO) <-- G1000 (no SMS) Cardo Scala-500 BT

I am closing this thread. There are already 2 threads discussing this, and we don't need a third to spilt the information between since the other two are very active.
