    Cradle for 6600?

okay. Left my cradle at home by error and now remember why I used to have 2 cradles for my old PDA.

Rather than assume so, I want to be sure the cradle for the XV6600 is the same as the PC-660x. Am I correct? If so, would either Verizon or Sprint stock these in one of their stores?

no, they arent going to stock them.....and they are fricking ridiculously expensive. $50 is stupid. I'd just get a sync cable and be done with it.

I have a new cradle that's not been used at all that I would be willing to sell.

Cats- thanks, but I needed one today.

Sync cable would be okay- does it carry the charging also? Will it support the functionality of the cradle- ActiveSync, remote control app, etc.?

OEM cradles with chargers are available on ebay from GSM-store for $9.99, plus $6.99 shipping.
I bought one, along with an extra OEM battery, and received it within a few days.
    See, for example,http://cgi.ebay.com/Audiovox-OEM-USB...QQcmdZViewItem

Mick- thanks, I am at the page now.

Sadly, though, no options presented help me solve the problem immediately. I suspect I will have to deal with the problem until I can get home. and resync/charge.

I guess in a crunch you could get a bluetooth usb adapter and sync that way. much cheaper than a cradle.

Well, for a cheap amount I got a new cradle and a spare battery. Life is good.

I managed to limp alontg yesterday with my phone being down to 21% battery when I got in my car and could charge it again. That's close!

oh you needed to charge your phone... that's kinda different than just saying you needed a cradle. My bluetooth solution wouldn't have helped you in the charging area but would have helped with syncing. I just bought 2 usb bluetooth adapters from ebay for $1 a piece ($9 shipping) and they work great! got 2 computer networked and can use active sync wirelessly now from my 6600.
