    Calculating data used

I was told by a Verizon tech that if a person connected to the internet by bluetooth from an Audiovox 6600 to say an Ipaq, the data used read as Audiovox 6600 data and passed as a radio connection. He said that because the data passed from one pda to another is the same through radio, tethering really doesn't apply here. To you data experts, is that correct.

What about Audiovox to pc through bluetooth. Is this an Audiovox data read that is transfered by radio, too. I would think that the larger data files would show up? Could someone explain?
