    Device Information:

My PPC6600 that I received new back in September from Lockline, reads this:
    ROM version: 1.36.00 WWE
    ROM date: 01/13/05
    Radio version: HA00_140
    Protocol version: AA3.3.301
    PRL version: 10028
    ExtROM version: 1.36.113 WWE
    Hardware version: 0041
    ESN: ********
    Browser: MSIE 6.0
    Current Username: *********@sprintpcs.com

What should some of these numbers/values be according to latest updates?
Also, links to suggested updates would be appreciated.

If I may be so bold --- your thinking about this is flawed. It doesn't matter what the numbers are, as long as your device is performing all of the functions you need. If you have a specific problem, you'll likely find the answer in this forum. If not, "don't fix it if it isn't broken".

*2 will get you PRL 10030. Other than that, your device matches mine exactly, and I'm pretty certain is at the latest "official" versions for a Sprint device. Ehud's site has newer ROMs if you want to move up to some of the newer, but not sanctioned by Sprint versions.

I doubt seriously that anyone at a Sprint store would be willing or able to upgrade the ROM to anything other than the officially sanctioned version, which your device is already running.

You could go to Ehud's site and download a newer version of the ROM....

I've thought about that...........appears to be too complicated; on top of that the files are huge. I only have dial-up at home and downloading the files needed would take a week. Have a CD that has the data I need?

Guys... knock it off. Either post something helpful, or move on.
