Found the registry key to clear the start menu of recent programs

I have been looking for this for a while. I wish I could either diable the feature, or change it so it shows the small icons above the start menu (if you were looking at the start menu in landscape mode, anyone know how to do that?)

Any ways, if you delete the key HKCU_Software_Microsoft_Shell_TaskSwitch and reboot, your start menu will be clear again.

If anyone knows how to do the above, that would be great as well!!

    Enjoy

not sure how to do it perm. but could make a cab file that will clear it out all the time for ya... but you would have to run it each time manually.

Unzip this file for the .cab copy it over to your PDA and run it. The script will remove the recent history list (from your registry key above). Just run it when ever you wanna clear your list, or add it to your startup for each reset.
