Looking for a bluetooth on/off button app

I'm looking for a way to click once (or one button push) to turn on/off bluetooth.

I searched and saw that phoneAlarm might do this but I don't want to load that large of a program for such a small task. I also came across an app on pocketgear.com called "miniBT" which (I think) does exactly what I need but haven't installed it yet becasue it says it only works with the Microsoft bluetooth stack - which I don't think the XV6600 uses - correct?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

The trial of miniBT doesn't work on my 6600.

I figured it wouldn't that's why I didn't even bother to install it. I believe the 6600 uses the BroadComm BT stack, not Microsoft's. Thus my search continues...

Well, I just found it. I guess I should have searched a little longer before asking the question - but that wouldn't have helped you.

Anyway, I don't know what the rules are here on posting URL's to other websites, so, I'll do it this way...

Google for "cicleBT" and the first hit is what you want. Make sure you d/l ver 2.0.0.274 because it supports our BroadComm stack.

As far as I can tell, it only shows up under Programs so you'll have to either map a button to it (which I did and it works great) or make a shortcut to it from somewhere that suits you. Oh, and by the way, it's very small (9k installed) and it's free!

Great, now if somebody could just figure out how to make my bluetooth headset work with voice command and dial that would be the bomb!

Phone alarm is great by the way... I can't see using the 6600 w/ out it now. I'm in so many meetings, regualr work, home, out clubbing, driving, it's great for the different profiles.

I love the idea of PhoneAlarm, but like many others it has too many glitches to be worthwhile.

Big kudo to mlr69 for finding this. Even one step better is this same developers Phone Profiles app on the same web site. It is a fairly no frills phone profiler that is free. It has a very intuitive config interface too. And the developer continues to make improvements based of suggestions in his own forums pages.
