    Ok yet another EVDO Question. VERY IMPORTANT

    So i just bought the ppc 6601 and how the heck do i set up EVDO on it? Ive looked but im soo confused because one post says something and another somethign else.

    I think the best way is to ask your carrier. Ring them and ask how to set it up and what username to use. That is probably the best way, because as i explained in one of my other posts, Telstra have 3 different access points for 3 different stacks...

    Well i asked sprint and had no luch..the lady said that it is not a EVDO phone. How can I ask myself.

    Please help!!!!

    Well, the lady is right. You are SOL, the update to make the sprint version EVDO capable never came to light other than a leaked beta that didn't actually work for anyone.... sorry. And try the search, there is a HUGE thread on the EVDO update for sprint and how it didn't work. I know its a lot of reading and may take a while, but the info is there for you already.

    Take it back quick to Sprint if you need EVDO and get a 6700. You have 14 days after purchase. Many feel the 6600 is a better machine but they never did the update.
    Sprint: G1000, HTC-6600, 6800, now TP2

    Might point out, that the Verizon version the XV6600 is EVDO
