So, has anyone tried the "new" ROM?

I've been running it for a couple few days now. But I don't notice anything different. I only just got the phone back from my son the other day. And I don't remember what it was really like. I had been using the 136 rom before. But after I updated the rom, I removed the wireless sync from the extended rom (i don't use it) and hard reset. So if it had anything to do the w/sync or email push. I wouldn't know.

What I do know, after tweeking the ex-rom/safestore. I have more loaded on my phone, with more space left than I did with my 6700. Plus it run alot smoother.

After upgrading the last time, I've noticed the volume over my bluetooth headsets seems to be lower. I know the FAQ which came out with that build indicated the phone's volume was higher, but nothing about bluetooth volume.

I guess I'll try this one out soon and hope the bluetooth volume is back up to where it was before.

Looks like I'm going back to the 136 rom. Getting the same problem with the notice bubble.

It's the same problem we've had with any of the other 2.0x roms. Pocket plus and any rom that splits the data and phone icons on the top bar.

Haven't tried it yet, but I hope to this weekend ... if I can get my 2 1/2 year old to help me.

I think that's the same document used in the previous ROM release.
