Upgraded to 6700, now what to do w/ my 6600...

My 6600 has not been fairing too well so my sprint rep gave me a loaner 6700 to use until the 6800 comes out. I am enjoying the 6700 but it's such a small screen and quirky keyboard... I guess I'm used to the slide down keyboard of the 6600 and big screen... but anyway, I was wondering what are some good ways to still use my 6600 as the screen works fine and is MUCH brighter than the 6700 in daylight. I have a portable GPS already for 1 car, perhaps use it in my 2nd car as a gps? Not sure... any creative ideas?

Depending on what's wrong with it vs. what still works, it might be useful as a full-time carputer: GPS, MP3's, etc.

It just hard resets everytime I switch batteries... that is the main thing. Since I'm not using it as a phone anymore, those phone issues are moot points. I think I have decided to use it at a movie player for my plane rides. I'll buy a 4gig SD card and go to town. I think I have pocketDVD from PDQ around somewhere.... I can use my 6700 for my mp3s.

I'm in the same boat here.
I switched over to Cingy and the 8525 and now have my 6600 just wasting away.

I like the designated GPS idea- The big screen has always been great for that- I was running iGuidance on it before- but my device also hard-resets when i change batteries, and iGuidance hasn't made it on the last couple of re-boots.

I've also been using the 6600 to play games. The big screen is perfect for sudoku, or bookworm- It's made me realize how small the 8525's screen really is...

Anyway- I look forward to hearing what other people come up with too. This is fun topic

i just got a new backup battery from pocketpctechs.com since mine resets on battery swaps too. Hopefully that will fix that problem. Besides that, when I upgrade to something, I'll keep it as a GPS/mp3/movie player for the truck.
