    Incoming call breaks internet connection

Is there a way to turn off receiving phone calls while I use my 6800 for my PC internet connection? I'm going to be relying on the PDA for my internet connection for a couple of weeks, and wouldn't like to be knocked offline by incoming calls.

i dont think so. if you have an active data connection (meaning its not dormant) phone calls will go direct to voicemail anyway. its only when your phones data call is dormant that voice calls comer thru...

This behavior is by design. Under EVDO voice always has priority over packet data. It suspends the connection, so just hit ignore when the call comes in to regain your suspended data connection.
Anything I say is mine. It is neither authorized nor endorsed by my employers or previous employers. Read at your own risk.

Yep, the "lost" connection is still there, but suspended as stated above and will pick up right where it left off. It is almost like call-waiting for your data.
