    vibrate feature?

maybe a stupid question...i bought my girlfriend the voyager, which has a vibrate feature on it that is pretty cool. anytime you touch the screen to open an application it vibrates to let you know you didn't miskey. is there any way to have a similar feature on the 760. it's not a huge thing, but i really love this. just curious.

Never heard of it and personally wouldn't want it since it will decrease battery life.

It's called haptics and it is something that has to be built into the phone.

    What is haptics?

I don't see why it has to be built into the phone. You can already have WM phones play a short little audio file when you tap the screen, so why couldn't software be written to trigger the vibrator for a few milliseconds instead?

edit: Chris, if you edit the title of the thread by sticking "haptic" in front of "vibrate" you may get more eyes reading this... just a suggestion

My! My! Talk about convergence! Now we want the phone to double as a vibrator as well?
