Bluetooth power reqts - headphone and syncing

Finally tried and will be syncing some of my pim info via bluetooth instead of usb. Curious however. Obviusly, I have bluetooth on the phone on all day for my headphone. Does leaving the phone connceted for bluetooth syncing of pim data use up additional battery, or should I disconnect after a sync.

    thanks,

    Larry

Any active transfers or connections on the device will use additional battery with bluetooth. It's minimal for just "talking and seeing" each other, but if you are actively syncing, then it will increase battery usage.

Also conduct some of your own tests and report by how much.... That might give us all a feel as to how much battery drain it's doing, whether you are losing minutes or hours of battery life.
