you know what i dont like

I hate that I can type faster than the i760 can keep up with me. I used to think it was slow because all the programs I put on it but I did a system restore and same thing. just one of my few gripes about this phone.

I agree, but it may be a problem that falls on deaf ears, I dont know if there is really a solution...

The one thing I did consider is turning off the word recognizer or whatever it is, maybe it will have to think less? just an idea...

I tried lowering it from 4 to 2 word suggestions... it seemed to help a bit. Let us know if turning it off completely helps more.

I read the last post in Overclocking that the proggies don't work on i760? There must be a way to OC it and what about using the external memory 2gig if you will to assist the main system?

im gonna try turning off word completion I never thought about that having an effect on it. I do agree though the keyboard isn't my favorite coming from the q but the phone itself blows the q away to me.

Well I consider myself to be a pretty fast typer, and I have yet to have this problem. Granted, I'm not as fast on this as I am my laptop, but I'm not slow by any means...

I too can type pretty fast, and other than the initial lag when switching to landscape, the phones keeps up with my input.

For those stating they type fast and recognize no "lag," do you have "word suggestor" on and do you have a lot of program installed?

    Please advise.

    Thanks
