Voice Command - Announcing incoming calls

New i760... upgrading from original Moto Q.

I've got a Jabra BT250 headset that does work with Voice Command. I've configured the Voice Command settings option to announce incoming calls, but under the Notification button, I have the radio button for 'Announce using Bluetooth hands free only' selected.

Here's my problem: the announcement comes from the device built-in speaker, not through the headset like I was expecting/wanting.

Did I do something wrong? Has anyone here gotten this to work?

Welcome to the i760. i came over from the exact same setup as you did and that was one of my disappointments. You will find that BT on i760 does not work as well as on the Q. In some ways I miss the Q, but the i760 is okay too.

yes, I ended up using BT audio for my slingplayer. didn't need it on the Q. it works okay but have to continually reset if you use the phone.
