    i760 wont start

    I have a i760 that window mobile wont start- it gets to the password screen and then restarts from that point over and over again (endless cycle). I can type in the password fast, but it still restarts. I tried the hard restart but no change.

    This happened after I installed new software.

    I now understand I need a reflash. Does this really need to be done by Samsung/Verizon or can I do it myself?

    What software did you install? Did you try a hard reset?

    I did try hard restart (reset and select button). It still does the same thing.

    I was trying different today plug in since the standard WM6.1 version is so very bad. I had SPB mobile shell and then install HTC over that. Probably should have taken SPB off first.

    I called verizon and they sent me to this to link to reinstall:

    But the last FAQ on the Samsung site says this cant be used just to reflash.
