Is there a way to repeat notifications???

When I get a call or text I get one beep (alarm) and then nothing. If I dont hear it the first time, I dont get the message till I look at the phone. On my old phones they would beep every five minutes or so till I cleared it. I see on the notifications page there is a box for repeat, but it is dimmed out. I think that is what I want, is there a way to set it up that way?
    Thanks

I found SPB Phone Suite at Handango and bought it. I downloaded it to my PC and to my phone, but I can't figure out how to install it. Any help would be much appreciated.

There is a little regedit that works too, I deleted it from my PC earlier, so all I have is a name. its called notification repeat.

    +1.
It is not freeware though, but SPB allows a free trial. I am sure there are free options out there too.
