    Change Problem

So I woke up and phone was charging fine and all I unplugged it and brought it to living room now it wont change no red light indicator or nothing. I took the bat out back in nothing. The phone turns on just wont take a change. I hooked the sync cable to computer that works fine. Could the bat I have be gone? or is this a known issue with I760

Are you sure your (assuming) wall charger is on, or good?
First try another socket. Could be a bad connection.
Next, got a car charger? try that next.
Yes batteries can go bad, but it's rare they won't show charging even when they are not.

Yes its a wall charger. I don't have the car charger and I have attempted many sockets in the house and popping the batteries in and out. The sync cable uses the same area so i am assuming that the port in the phone is fine. I would assume it battery or the charger it self.

I guess it seems I will have to buy a new Battery and changer and hope its one of the 2 thats bad if nothing else and its just charger i will have a back up battery for trips

Did you get two batteries with our phone? The stock verizon offering came with two... If so do you get the same issue with both batteries? if you have another method of charging try that to rule out a bad charger. You can also take to Verizon and have them look at it.

You may not have bought it from Verizon... but you use it on their network, yes? Take to the store and have them check it out, it shouldn't cost you anything. They should be able to test the charger and battery. If you can run the phone with the battery you do have, my guess if there is something going on with the charger. It's hard to troubleshoot it if you can't rule out any components.
Also check the plug and the socket for tarnish on the contacts or obstructions. I once had something lodge in the charging syncing port of another phone that prevented good contact.
