Can you get an i760 to work on PagePlus?

I have seen threads where people are using PagePlus service. Since they use the Verizon network, and have a data plan, can you use your i760 there?

I asked this question in another thread, but figured it may be more relevant to just start a new one.

Same here. PP is working nicely.

I did a hard reset on my phone after just joining PP (wanted a fresh start after having the phone for so long) and it wasn't working any more. However I called their customer service and they just had to reset the authorization and I haven't had a problem since.

Also on the 1200 plan and everything is working fine!

Can you keep your current Verizon phone number?

If so, how do you go about it?
Do you cancel Verizon, tell them you want to keep you number, then join PP?
Do you join PP, tell them you want your Verizon number, then cancel Verizon?

I've never changed carriers and ported over my number, so I'm not sure what the proper procedure is, and I dont want to screw myself up by doing things in the wrong order.

go to page plus and initiate the number port.. that should also cancel your vzw account, but I would followup with them as well. Watch out for the ETF I don't know if applies to you but Vzw just raised them for "advanced devices".
